MIRACLE FOR MY HOUSE ON MAPLE

Living in my brother’s house that he had rented to me was a divine appointment. Something I didn’t share in my last blog was that my brother had only been moved away from this house a short period. He knew that the state would be eventually buying the house to widen the main road near it.

In preparation he had found and bought another house. One of his friends had rented his current house and agreed to stay till it was purchased by the state. Well as divine appointments happen my house I had shared with Mark sold in less than 2 weeks of being on the market and I had no time to find a place and just like magic my brother’s friend up and moved out of the rental house without warning.

During the year I rented my brothers house I learned that the state would provide assistance to renters of homes to be demolished for the widen of the road. If you were to continue renting they would provide rental assistance for 4 years if the rent was higher or if you purchased a house they would make a down payment.

I was told that the down payment the state would give is based on an individual’s prior work income and multiple factors that were in a specific algorithm. I remember the day the two gentlemen from the road project came to give me my award letter. I had just been so excited to have help with a down payment. I was thinking maybe a couple of thousand or gosh maybe $5,000. Whatever it was I knew that it was a blessing from God.

The guys had a strange look on their faces when they handed me the letter. I could not believe my eyes when I read the amount. I was sure it had been typed wrong. There was no way this amount could have been correct. I asked and was assured the amount was correct. I was told only 2 individuals got an amount similar to mine out of over 200 homes that were to be purchased in two counties in this road project.

You know that numbers carry meaning. The down payment that was to be paid for me was $44,400.00. This was so much a miracle on my behave from the Divine. I could not have purchased my current home and been able to have a new car and afford to live comfortably had this divine appointment not happened. God showed out in a big way for me. Guess what the house I rented from my brother was demolished over 7 years ago and the road project to widen that road has yet to be even started!
