The Beginning

My name is Wendy Evans and I am writing my first book. Becoming Me. I thought that I would set up a blog to share some of my writing and see how it is received.

I hope you are having a good day today. I am doing real good these last few weeks. Just taking one of my many breaks I have to take from cutting my grass. I can finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. It's been 20 years since I was hit by a drunk driver and 22 years since my mom and first husband died. I have said for years I should tell my life story and I never followed through. Well it's time!!!

I have been through many trials but God has always got me through each of them. He has always put the right people in my life when I needed them. Like in the last 6 months a dear friend named Becky. She lives in California but I couldn't be closer if she lived across town. She has been so supportive during a down time emotionally and physically.

I hope that by sharing my life story that I can help others who have been through similar struggles. I grew up in a small North Georgia town, called Rockmart about an hour from Atlanta. I am looking forward to share my life with you.
